  • Gregory Gibson [Lead Pastor; Elder]

    A prolific church planting and global missions leader, Gregory Gibson is the founding and lead pastor of Nations Church. He is also the founder of Gibson Leadership (leadership coaching for Great Commission Leaders).

    Greg has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Boyce College in Biblical and Theological Studies, an Advanced Masters of Divinity (MDiv) from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in the Biblical Languages of Greek and Hebrew, and a Masters of Theology (ThM) also from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Leadership.

    He is the author of The SALT DNA, How to Think Like Jesus, and several eBooks on church planting and global missiology.

    Most importantly, he is married to Grace, and he is the proud father of Cora and Iver. They reside in the Washington, DC area.

  • Aaron Nichols [Elder]

    Aaron Nichols leads a dynamic team of residential real estate agents at the fastest growing brokerage in the world. Prior to his career in real estate, he served for over a decade as a church planter and pastor in several churches throughout the DC area and the Northeast.

    He holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from George Mason University and a Master of Theology (ThM) in Pastoral Leadership from Dallas Seminary.

    He also currently serves on the Board of Directors for Way Forth Collective who provides project management services for faith-based nonprofits.”

    He loves exploring coffee shops and book stores with his wife Lauren and coaching his sons, Levi, Owen and Noah’s, football and basketball teams.

  • Shane Comeaux [Executive Director]

    Since trusting in Christ in 1994, Shane has tried his best to continue to follow God's direction in his life. That led him to leave his home state of Louisiana in 2001 to move to the DC area. Since being in the area, he has participated in and led mission trips around the globe and is excited to help launch a new church in this area that is fully focused on fulfilling the Great Commission in real and tangible ways. With a background in logistics and planning, Shane will use the gifts God has given to help Nations thrive.

    Shane is married to Mimi and is the father of 5 boys; Oliver, Elias, Kellan, Carden, and Tyvin; ages 14 to 3. Of course with a household full of boys, they love sports and the outdoors. When not working or at school, you can often find them hunting, camping, playing sports, or cheering on their LSU Tigers.

  • Jonathan Forrester [Field Team; Poland]

    Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, Jonathan is an avid Pittsburgh Sports fan and is currently an Electrician by trade. Although Jonathan Grew up in church, he was called to ministry on a mission trip to London, England in 2018, and he has spent the last several years preparing for where God would take him to serve.

    Jonathan went to Poland and Ukraine for the first time in 2023 to serve with an organization called SALT. It was during that trip that Jonathan said yes to serving in Eastern Europe and began to prepare to move to Poland.

    Jonathan currently serves as the Poland Coordinator for SALT, and he currently lives in Washington, DC and serves with Nations Church in preparation to move to Poland. He plans to move to Warsaw, Poland in the summer of 2024. Nations Church is his home church and sending church.
