Staff Team

  • Shane Comeaux [Administrator]

Since trusting in Christ in 1994, Shane has tried his best to continue to follow God's direction in his life. That led him to leave his home state of Louisiana in 2001 to move to the DC area. Since being in the area, he has participated in and led mission trips around the globe and is excited to help launch a new church in this area that is fully focused on fulfilling the Great Commission in real and tangible ways. With a background in logistics and planning, Shane will use the gifts God has given to help Nations thrive.

Shane is married to Mimi and is the father of 5 boys; Oliver, Elias, Kellan, Carden, and Tyvin. Of course with a household full of boys, they love sports and the outdoors. When not working or at school, you can often find them hunting, camping, playing sports, or cheering on their LSU Tigers.

  • Jonathan Forrester [Media Team Associate]

Jonathan serves Nations Church as a Media Team Associate. He assists our Director of Corporate Worship on all things Sunday mornings A/V/L and logistics.

Jonathan lives in Northern Virginia and travels to London (his favorite city in the world) any chance that he gets.

And over the last several years, she has been a part of starting and growing children’s ministries at different churches and in different contexts.

She has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in biblical and theological studies from Boyce College, with an emphasis in worldview and apologetics.

  • Sung Kim [Director of Corporate Worship]

Sung Kim was born in South Korea and grew up in Cambodia, where his parents served as missionaries. From a young age, he has been passionate about two things: people and worship. After graduating from college in Indiana, with a heart for teenagers and youth, Sung moved to the Washington, D.C. area to work at Chick-fil-A, seeking exposure to the younger generation. This led to his involvement in ministries like YoungLife and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Driven by a desire to serve, learn, and become more integrated with American culture and its youth, Sung enlisted in the United States Army and is currently on the path to becoming an Army Chaplain.

Sung holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Taylor University, a Master of Arts in Christian Ministries from Liberty University, and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity from Liberty University.
