Meet Pastor Gregory Gibson

Gregory Gibson
Founding and Lead Pastor

A prolific church planting and global missions leader, Gregory Gibson is the founding and lead pastor of Nations Church. He is also the founder of Gibson Leadership and the co-founder of SALT.

Within his work, Gibson coaches, consults, and trains Great Commission leaders all over the world in both the church, marketplace, and non-profit space. He has planted churches and started redemptive businesses in Ukraine, throughout Eastern Europe, and the United States, including Washington, D.C. and Tennessee. These church plants include Foothills Church Maryville in 2009, Veritas City Church in 2016 in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C., and Foothills Church Knoxville in 2020.

Greg has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Boyce College in Biblical and Theological Studies, an Advanced Masters of Divinity (MDiv) from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in the Biblical Languages of Greek and Hebrew, and a Masters of Theology (ThM) also from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Leadership.

He is the author of The SALT DNA, How to Think Like Jesus, and several eBooks on church planting and global missiology.

Most importantly, he is married to Grace, and he is the proud father of Cora and Iver. They reside in the Washington, DC area.
